why am I a church planter in Cote D'Ivoire?

  As a Missionary the one constant that kept me planting churches was the never disappointing honor of working with God to help people come to Christ, and the always fresh privilege of birthing new church.

I thank God for sending me here in Cote D'ivoire. Although the United Methodist Church in Cote D'ivoire will celebrate 100 Years this years; the church leadership has a vision to revitalized evangelism and mission.  You will agree with me and Peter Wagner who said that "the single most effective evangelistic methodology under heaven is planting new churches. 

New churches reach lost people more effectively than existing churches. New churches reach new people; existing churches reach existing people. This is true because most new churches are focused as missional entities, meaning they typically concentrate on reaching the lost and fulfilling the Great Commission, but too many existing churches have turned inward and have forgotten why they exist. 

I have been given the responsibilities by the Bishop to strengthen evangelism and mission to continue planting churches in the west and northern parts of Cote D'Ivoire. The target also is to plant United Methodist Churches in Guinea Conakry and Guinea Bisau.

Currently, we are focusing on church-planting and discipleship through the use of literacy training, spiritual retreat of church planters. I believe leadership training for church planters will equip; inspire and empower them to be more productive. Training opportunities are important tools to transform lives of evangelists and church planters to be capable of reaching their own and planting churches. Equipping these men and women with skills is the goal of each of our fields.

My wife is very good at kids programs but this could be a full time ministry as she is limited to where I am and where I go.

          My wife francine Masuka is teaching our son Ephraim Masuka like Susanne Wesley. 

I believe the youth and the kids ministry is a way to reach many Muslims with the Gospel in this region. We have seen this to be very effective and I think this could be even more effective if somebody would dedicate his or her entire time to this.

Dear friends in the Lord Jesus Christ. I am calling you to partner with me and my ministry in Cote D'Ivoire.  Let us build a covenant relationship with you and your church. You can play a much greater role in cooperating with God in His big plan to reach this world for Jesus Christ through the experience of church starting.
